Next up on our marathon of landscaping projects is picking up something we started over three years ago. Back in 2022 we installed guttering, a French drain and some underground pipework to move excess water away from our house that was suffering from damp issues.
The original plan was to try and capture all the rain water and store it in a big tank for irrigating our fruit trees and vegetable garden during the hot, dry Portuguese summer. We’ve since come up with a slightly different (and simpler) plan which we’ll explain in this video.
Join us for a lot of digging, a load of timelapse and the occasional innuendo as we continue the landscaping of our one acre plot in central Portugal.
